  • DECADOCS has started on 1 October 2025. Our kick-off took place in Lisbon from 2 to 4 October 2025. Special thanks to Lusofona for its wonderful hospitality!
  • Recruitment completed on janvier 23, 2026: 9 MSCA doctoral fellows will join us in a few weeks’ time. We would like to thank all applicants : they bear testimony to DECADOCS’ excellence. ‘Let decadence abound!’

  • Mai 9, 2026. Join us to celebrate European doctoral day ! DECADOCS is proud to participate in the first European Doctoral Day, a continent-wide initiative that will be held annually on May starting in 2026, during Europe Month.

  • Volupté, volume 9, Issue 1 (Summer 2026) ‘Estonian and Finnish Decadence’ published!

This exciting issue guest-edited by Mirjam Hinrikus, Hasso Krull, Viola Parente-Čapková, and Riikka Rossi (proud DECADOCS member), is in open access. Volupté is the only peer-reviewed journal on decadence studies. Feel free to have a look and discover a beautifully designed OA journal on a topic we all love!

  • 📣  DECADOCS is delighted to announce its Summer School « Working with Archives », hosted by the University of Glasgow from 7 to 11 September 2026. Doctoral candidates from across our consortium will spend a week immersed in archival practice — from rare books and manuscripts to digital archives and museum collections — combining hands-on workshops, expert-led visits and much more!
  • Our Summer school took place in Glasgow, from 7 to 12 September !
  • European doctoral researchers came to Glasgow this month for the DECADOCS Summer School, exploring archives, collections and cultural heritage.
